We choose the sea to be the background of our "yes".
Both the Welcome Reception and The Big Day take place at Hotel Miradouro in São Sebastião — mostly on its covered, stone-paved terraces.
While we love the little ones in our lives, our wedding celebration will be best suited for adults. As our venue is a beautiful but open clifftop setting with an uncovered swimming pool, it is not entirely safe for children. We kindly ask guests with children to make childcare arrangements where possible — we completely understand if this is not feasible, and we hope you understand our concerns.

The ceremony takes place outdoors, followed by a celebration on a covered stone-paved terrace overlooking the sea. October weather in São Sebastião can be unpredictable — we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast closer to the date.

Formal attire
Long or midi dresses, and elegant jumpsuits are all welcome. Feel free to embrace colour, prints, flowing fabrics and special details for an elegant, festive look with personality.
The celebration will take place on a terrace with a firm, even stone floor, suitable for heels. For extra comfort, block heels are recommended.

The Flight
Flying into Guarulhos (GRU), São Paulo
We recommend flying into Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) in São Paulo.
From the Netherlands
KLM and LATAM both operate direct flights from Amsterdam (AMS) to São Paulo (GRU) — approximately 11 hours. Indirect flights (e.g., via Lisbon) can sometimes be a cost-effective alternative.
The Drive
~3 hours from the airport to São Sebastião
São Sebastião is on the coast, about 3 hours drive from the airport.
We can recommend trusted drivers — just reach out.

"Pássaro Marron" bus line runs from the airport to São Sebastião.
